Hey All just wanted to let you know that this Friday night Flood Church is having a preview of the Documentary "Garbage" It is at 7:30 At SAAM {Sacramento Asian American ministry} off 59th and 2nd in Tahoe park area. Should be really cool it is about a family of 5 who store their garbage for 3 months in there garage to see what kind of waste we produce. That is just the gist. It is real issues we all deal with about following Christ and dealing with the Kingdom as far as environment even though the Kingdom is not the focus of the movie. Ouch. That will be an eye opener. I hope they live in a rural area, because I imagine that the smell would be pretty bad for both them and neighbors. I don't think we can attend, so if you do, make sure to write a review and let us know what you think.
I really hope I can attend. This sounds awesome! I may be running around like a Turkey with my head cut off in prep for our TIP event; but, if I can break away I'll be sure to join in.
Maybe this is a movie night option for something we can do together later on. Hmmmm... any thoughts?
I would love to do a movie night. I can't make it Friday, but if this thing is on DVD, great.
