The New Look: I added a 3rd column to the blog. What do you think? Shall we keep it? Any other suggestions for helping the design out a bit? Being functional as well as informative is very important. Is there any information that you think should be added or taken away or adapted? Also, any suggestions on links? I added some pics too. Like 'em? Anyone else have pics to add? Please advise. As far as the banner, I'd like it to extend across the screen, but that isn't a possibility right now unless someone designs a new one.
Tonight: It was a good time as always. I love to see how everyone puts so much heart into what they bring. It is really a neat dynamic to watch and I am encouraged. Props to everyone for really stepping out to initiate creative love.
BBQ in June: Next month was supposed to be the Shoes BBQ, but while chatting throughout the night, we decided that we will do a BBQ next month near the Salvation Army on June 24th at 5pm. Why? Because.
1. There are always a ton of people in need near North B Street.
2. Getting to cook for others will provide ample time to have conversation while burning hot dogs on the grill. And getting to eat together is a powerful thing to do. Let's make sure to sit down and really enjoy some food with those we meet.
3. This will be a blessing to others.
4. We would like to mix things up. And we hope to bring some instruments and rock out a bit too. Anyone interested?
5. This idea emerged organically, really. It came as a result of collective communication and it just seems natural to do, so let's go for it.
Let's continue to think on this BBQ over the next couple of weeks and key in on what it will take to pull off as far as resources, and also let's ask ourselves the question of what we can provide to help homeless folks with both immediate and longer term needs.

Loved being with you all tonight.
Mike and I thought of opening up our home the weekend before Sat or Sun Before the BBQ to gather and brain storm on the who needs what who brings what. Let us know what you think. we will provide the food. If none of you are opposed to traveling to good old Rancho. We have a huge yard a great place for the kids to play. Let hang out brain storm and have a BBQ and some brew.
