Thanks to Tyson for reserving www.socksandgloves.com for us. That was a very cool thing to do and we all appreciate it. He actually reserved www.socksandgloves.org also for potential future uses. Very cool, huh.
So I put up a makeshift site at www.sockandgloves.com. It all honesty, the site needs proofreading, re-writing in places, some new pics, a new banner absolutely because the cheesy banner really bites, and the bugs to be worked out as to why it shows differnetly in IE and Mozilla (this is a very frustrating component of working with MS Frontpage I think because the end product often times displays poorly in Mozilla). I know it sounds like I am blasting the site I just made, but in all honesty, this is only a placeholder until a designer comes along and provides some skill to the site we would all love to have. My skills are very limited, but I will use what I have for the time being.
For now the site will suffice, but please go to it and then email me feedback and your thoughts or simply comment below. Please feel free to re-write some material because I'd love for this to be a group project. And do you like the categories? Do you envision any other categories or particular feature for the site to have for us and those who will volunteer and those who will sponsor our efforts? Lastly, I am being serious here: If anyone has the desire to build a site and you have solid skills, please talk to me. I consider the current site to be a workable placeholder until a designer steps up to the plate to make things happen for us. Anyone, Bueller?
ONE MORE THING: On the site "contact" page, who would be willing to be listed? I'd like to have multiple people beyond just two. Let me know which email to use and then I'll get it up there. Thanks.
