So, who is coming on Sunday? Socks & Gloves is this Sunday evening on January 28th. We will meet at 6:30pm on J Street in the parking lot of Carrow's between 28th and 29th Streets. You can call 595-3735 for additonal information and click on the link to the right also.
Is anyone bringing any socks, gloves, blankets, clothes, food, something creative, etc....? Let us know. Thanks. And if anyone has some stuff but you cannot make it, you can always pass it on to someone you know who is going (or Ryan).

I'll be brining laundry packs and hot chocolate. If anyone has an extra thermos we could have more hot chocolate if you bring it filled with hot water. I'll bring extra powder & cups just in case.
Jenny & I will come together. We'll bring socks, gloves, a couple of beanies, and some men's clothing. A couple of people from our church said that they were going to donate some panchos and socks and stuff too, so we'll see there.
Kel and I will bring a large
thermos with hot water in it we also have loads of blankets donated by The Flood which Kel and I are calling home for now. Praise God! Oh yeah I also have, living Stone a church here in Rancho their youth group is collecting stuff for the cause. I would not be able to move around in my garage if it was not for the fact Kel and I went out two weekends ago and passed out all we had which was a ton! It went well!
We will also bring some PB&J's to hand out. We also have beannies and socks and mens underware.
peace out!
Mike-
You guys are awesome. It is so neat to see how you have really put feet to your desires to care for the homeless. I love that this is becoming a lifestyle for you. And you have had two churches collecting things too!!!! Very cool. I hear great things about Flood, by the way.
Talk soon eh...
From an e-mail, Dan writes, "I will definately be attending
Socks & Gloves night on 1/28/07. I have some jackets and vests to give out."
I also have a crew of some new faces coming they are trying to gather some needed items! Praise God!
