Two groups are going out this weekend to invite guests on the street to this Sun's Turkey in the Park event @ 2:30PM at Southside park @ 6th & T St.
If you're interested in inviting people groups will be passing out invitations Fri. & Sat. evening from 8 - 9:30 PM. Groups will meet in the parking lot at Carrows Restaurant @ J & 28th Street (2800 J St.) @ 8PM.
Post here if you're planning to join one of the groups so they don't leave without you!
Side note - we're all hoping for a dry weekend preceding the event and no rain during the event; but, we're bringing umbrellas to give away. Feel free to add in some last minute rain ponchos if you have free funds. Rain ponchos run about $1-2/ea. in the camping section of many department stores.
