Ignorance Ends Today, Negligence Begins Tomorrow

I recently read this post over on the blog of LJUrban, a small local development firm in Midtown who are doing some cool stuff to promote "eco-urban community."

Has anyone read "The End of Poverty"? This sounds like an interesting book. I really like the phrase "Ignorance ends today; negligence begins tomorrow." It rings so true in so many ways about justice issues.

I own the book but I haven't make it all the way through yet. That's probably because before I bought it, I read this excerpt in Time Magazine that sums it up pretty well. I recommend both...

I've not read that book.

I followed the link to the original article you read. What a cool organization.
