Stamp Out Hunger w/ your Mailbox

This Saturday, May 12th marks the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) 15th Annual Food Drive - the Nation's Largest One-day Effort to Stamp Out Hunger. If you would like to participate, residents are being asked to leave non-perishable donations-such as canned meat, fish and soup, and cereals, pasta and rice-in a bag near their mailbox on Saturday, May 12 before their letter carrier arrives.

Donations will be taken to the local post office and then delivered to local food banks, pantries or shelters that serve the area where the donations are collected. For more information please visit: http://www.nalc.org/commun/foodrive/

Wow, I had no idea about this. The wife says that we got something in the mail, but I never saw it. Thanks for the tip.
