We're Still Here
We are still here everyone. It's been a busy introduction to 2008, so not much has been written or talked about lately. I think too that we finished 2007 in such a strong way with so many events, that it was good to take a breather for a month. We will be getting together some fantastic events in coming months, so be on the lookout. Also, Tyson suggested that we change the monthly outing time to be a bit earlier than 6pm if the weather is terrible again as it was on Sunday. What do you think? Would it be best to shoot for an earlier time as we begin meeting once a month on Saturdays starting in February?

It might be better to shoot for earlier until the time change.

I'm not opposed to change; but, I don't see the advantage to going out earlier. Can someone help me understand what I seem to be overlooking?

hey there everyone. me & the family were planning on making it to the last sunday meet but the weather was not too good for the little ones. we can definately be a part of the next meet. i have a strong desire to become a regular newbie. saturdays are good and i like the idea of the earlier time. ...rosie
Ok... I think a little earlier time until the weather is better is good because a lot of the roofless folks are down for the night by six because of the cold and can be harder to find. At least that has been our observation.

Rosie- Your opinion matters, especially as a "regular newbie". Thanks for sharing.
Everyone else- If it is a possibility for the time to change, then two things need to happen:
1) We need to decide what time.
2) We need to communicate with everyone about this, especially since we have published dates out there with February 23rd at 6pm. We want to try and limit having people show up only to find that we didn't communicate well about the change in time.

The 23rd seems to be coming up quick I think earlier is better. Can we make a decision for 5:00 at chavez. People will still be in the park at that time since it is not dark yet.Lets nail this down guys.:)I would like to give the folks at Flood an acurate time so they have a opportunity to come out with us.
