Thanks to all who spent part of their Christmas with the S&G crew in Caesar Chaves park today. The hot chocolate and Christmas cheer were such fun things to share with some old friends and some new friends today. And, ... if you were part of our caroling group -- whooo hoo! The singing with the guitar gave it a real homey feel. View photos at our Picasa Album here. If you snapped a few shots, please send them our way too so that they can get online.
In the mean time, I've just received this link to share some more photos from our Turkey in the Park Event earlier this month. Way to go photo-Dan. :)
Merry Christmas to All!

I do have some pictures that I will send your way as soon as I get a chance (maybe tomorrow). I also wanted to put a heart felt Thank You out there to everyone that showed up and helped and or donated and a special thanks to Ann and Ryan for all you do for the cause it truly moves me to see you use your gifts.

"M", or shall we say "Mike" (I think). You are amazing. Both you and Kellie are astounding people.
I thought the event went over well. I was glad to see so many people come out to hang and to see homeless folks blessed. Since I was singing, that was really the highlight for me. I loved seeing people on the streets participating and adding creativity to the mix.
One point of critique: I think that we needed to set up camp just below the stage so that we would actually be right in there with our homeless guests so that they did not need to pick up there things in order to go meet us. It is always important to consider space and how we might set things up in order to maximize free-flowing relationship.
Hasta.

Yeah "m" is me. I also wanted to put a big Thank You out there to Heather your kindness and help are noticed by many. Happy New Year to you and your family.

It was a great time. I think that It for me was one of the most important things that we have done with our kids. Leaving all the toys and present to share Gods love this way and to sing and rejoice the birth of our savior with our homeless friends was truly a huge blessing for Mike and I and our family
Happy New year
Kellie
