From Sunday to Saturday
It has been suggested that we begin to meet on Saturday nights at some point so that more people can make it out to the Socks & Gloves outings. What do you think? Why don't we list pros and cons below and think this one through as a group. Ann did make a good suggestion of at least keeping the remainder of our outings in 2007 as they are, but there is a possibility of change for the new year.

I think a pro to Saturday is that the next day is not a work day. Sunday nights tend to be rest time.
I admit that I do like Sunday nights, but I'm willing to try out Saturdays. The first one in February happens to be my wife's birthday, so I'm thinking that I better skip that one. Other than that, I'm good to go for March. But if it is not a greater draw, then Sundays are working fine for me. What works for everyone else though because that'll certainly influence my decision?
It sounds like Saturdays might have the potential to bring in more people from the Flood church? Did we ever get feedback on that?
I agree that Sunday eve's tend to be rest time; but, at the same time on more than one occasion I've been able to schedule weekend plans away and still make it back in time to do an S&G outing on Sun. eve. I'm willing to let that go, though if it brings in more participation.
I dont want the night to move because of just me. I propose that we keep it on Sunday night because that seems to work best with your guy's (and girls) schedule and I will just come when I can and also do some alternate nights with other groups of people. peace!
Miguel-
Let's just see what the rest of the posse thinks. We have a bit of time to really hash things out and figure out what is going to be best for the whole. It may very well be that Saturday will work and I can certainly make that happen. Not a huge deal. And besides, you and Kelli are a very important part of what we are all doing, so that is a big consideration. :)
I agree with Ryan; it would be a loss to not have Mike and Kellie. It's ususally the last 3 months of the year that I do most of my traveling; so, going to Saturdays in 2008 would be much easier. I don't see any major obstacle with giving it a try. Let's invite a little more feedback from other regular participants. If there's some apprehension we could try a quarter of Saturdays and revisit the topic; but, as it stands I'm ready to turn to Sat. if we don't get any major no's.
Honestly, I prefer Sundays, but not by much - I will happily be there on whatever day works best.
