Long time no blog.
This Sunday we are doing a Socks & Gloves outing and we will meet at the usual spot at 7pm (click HERE for details). It is now staying light a bit later, so it will likely be best to gather together a half-an-hour later than usual so that we can meet more homeless folks as they are getting ready for bed at dusk/night time. So if the new time of 7pm goes well on Sunday, then we'll stick with it for next six months or so. If not, we'll figure out a different time.
As the weather heats up, let's get into a Spring & Summertime mentality and dream up ways for how to help those who are on the streets. Let's keep finding simple ways to love people and let's begin to collect things like granola bars, powdered lemonade, bottled water, socks, underwear, misc. clothing, and deodorant for this month and the next few months. These items are pertinent for hotter times.
